RODE VideoPro Shotgun Microphone is a light-weight condensor microphone device. Wires directly into your digital slr. The Videopro gives great precision with the three step gain and two stepm, high-pass filter. The floating mount dampens manual input and the 3.5mm cable plugs straight into the camera body.

We rent the Rode Dead Cat to accompany the VideoPro to further reduce stage wash and unwanted wind noise.

In interview situations we always recommend combining the Videopro on-board Microphone with the Rode Wireless Lapel Mic.
