Zhiyun Crane 2  vs.  DJI Ronin-M

We get asked this a lot and to best differentiate we tend to consider the application, not the gear.  The Ronin is equipped for a scenario with seriously heavy payloads and lots of movement, but as a result, the unit itself is huge, heavy and requires a lot of battery attention.  The Zhiyun is more suited to smaller, run and gun style rigs and is ideal for travel as it’s a substantially smaller unit.

B&H Ratings – at time of writing.
Zhiyun Crane 2: 4.5 stars
DJI Ronin-M: 4.2 stars
DJI Ronin-MX: 3.5 stars
